A Guy's Guide to Buying Lingerie

If you have ever thought about buying lingerie for your girlfriend or wife then I'm sure that you have discovered that it can be a daunting experience. With so many styles, sizes and brands, getting some sexy lingerie can be a real headache. We hope that this short guide will help you choose the perfect lingerie gift for your loved one whether it's a babydoll, sexy teddy or a pair of leather thigh-high boots.

The first real problem to overcome is get your lover's size. This is important as should be addressed before anything else. If you only have a general idea of your partner\’s dimensions, or none at all, you might find that you may run into trouble later on. A solution? Check the size of a bra in your lover's drawer (ranging from A to DD, with A being the smallest and DD being the bustiest or biggest). You will also see a number before the letter ranging from 30 to 42, and this number refers to bust size, or the circumference of the body just under the breasts. Unfortunately underwear is a different story and has sizes which range from XS to XXL, or go by number from approximately 6 to 24 although it\’s rare that anyone is larger than these basic sizes. Checking the size of some underwear is another good idea.

There is an easier option, ask her what her measurements are outright, as guessing might not be the best idea, as her face may not light up because you got the sizes wrong and your hopeful night of passion is dashed. If, however, you really want to surprise her or are nervous about asking for her size buying a chemise or camisole is a good option.

As for color, choose her favorite or one you think she would look ravishing in. If you ever find yourself completely stumped in this area, black is always a safe and sexy option.

Thongs
Women who are completely at ease with their bodies and want to show off toned stomachs and thighs look the best in thongs. However, the thong’s popularity has grown dramatically over the last few years, and thongs are now worn by most women.
